Sleeping is an action that is available to the player in a couple of different settings.
Inns, which are located in cities, have beds available (normally on the second floor) in which the player can sleep.
Additionally, at some campsites spread around the world there exists bedrolls, which the player can also use to sleep in (not to be confused with tents, which provide no option to sleep).
Sleep has two main advantages.
- First, it passes time in the game world much more quickly. This is useful for sleeping through the night when visibility is is hampered to such a degree as to make it almost impossible to accomplish anything.
- Second, it returns hit points to the character relatively quickly (and not to mention, freely). This allows the player to save healing items for times when the availability of somewhere to sleep does not exist.
